Why inspect after I sign the contract?

Recently my daughter, 25, purchased a home. They would not accept any contingency or any time for inspection. Fortunately, I had gone with her to see the house and inspected then. This is the ideal situation – inspect when you know you are going to put a contract on a house. However, in this quickening market, the seller will not accept contingencies. Basement to Attic has a “Buy with me” deal. We will look at up to two houses you are going to put a contract on with you while you’re shopping. The cost is a flat rate of $600. Please email me for details: ranger@basementtoattic.com.

Even if you have a contract on a house, it is a good idea to get an inspection. We can find things you can’t and help you line up contractors to fix them before you move in and “discover.”
